Since our inception in 1987, Anderson Group has supported arts and arts education in Berks County to strengthen and enrich our communities and the lives of its residents.
As part of that mission, we’ve worked with several local arts organizations, including the Reading Musical Foundation, Reading Symphony Orchestra, Yocum Institute for Arts Education, and the Berks Jazz Fest, which runs from April 5-14 this year.
Berks Jazz Fest is one of the biggest fests of its kind in the country, creating a whopping $5 million impact on Reading, PA. More than 40,000 jazz fans—most from outside the area—will descend on the city during the fest to patronize local hotels, restaurants and businesses to hear top jazz performers.

Since 1991, Linda and Mike Anderson—and by extension Anderson Group—have been involved with the Berks Jazz Fest as volunteers, supporters, fans, and, in Mike’s case, a performer. Anderson Group has even contributed design services for the Fest’s logos and apparel in past years. The agency will continue that tradition in 2019 as a sponsor of the Berks Jazz Fest, with Mike once again appearing onstage.
Every year since 2002, Mike has been a member of the Berks Horns and played the Fest. A “horns for hire” group, Berks Horns serves as an economical alternative for musical acts that come to the Fest and need extra players.
