Strategic Brand Development

Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation

We designed a better website to promote better community health.

SEE THE WORK

THE CHALLENGE

Our client needed a new site that was more content-rich and user-friendly.

Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation provides opportunities for its community to embrace healthier lifestyles through grants to a variety of local programs and learning initiatives. They also have their own health initiatives to benefit schools, workplaces, and families. However, the wide scope of the Foundation's activities was not present on their old website, keeping visitors (primarily prospective grantees and community members) in the dark about successful initiatives, news, reports, and other important information.

Content Development

To flesh out a better online presence, we first had to develop the Foundation’s brand framework. This detailed breakdown of values, needs, goals, and attitudes told us what the Foundation's core messaging should be, as well as how to communicate that messaging to different audiences. With that framework in hand, we were able to build and design the Foundation’s entire website, including its responsive design (so it could be viewed clearly on mobile devices), content management system (so content could be uploaded and changed easily), custom blog, recipes section, database engine, and news feeds.

THE RESULTS

A comprehensive, up-to-date website

PottstownFoundation.org encompasses all the Foundation's activities and can serve as a central resource hub for the organization's grantees and Pottstown community members. Members of the Foundation can update the website as needed to prevent ongoing development costs and connect directly with community stakeholders who need information the most.
