Our client had an incredible mission and an aggressive capital fundraising goal.

For over 125 years, Hope Rescue Mission (HRM) has provided food, shelter, clothing, counseling resources, and spiritual enrichment to homeless men in Berks County. However, our client was acutely aware that women, children, and teens—the community’s most vulnerable people—also needed help, support, and spiritual guidance. For this reason, HRM launched an endeavor to provide a new community shelter, specifically designed for women, children, and teens, called LightHouse. This began a yearlong, $3 million fundraising capital campaign to renovate an existing 25,000 square foot building on a 4.6-acre campus in downtown Reading.

Anderson Group was tasked with creating a campaign launch video designed to not only solicit funds from local communities, businesses, and churches but also to strike an emotional chord as to the importance of such a facility. Additionally, a (:30) regional TV spot, solicitation materials, as well as social and media outreach were part of the capital campaign.

The campaign video won a 2021 Silver Addy from the American Advertising Federation.
